Advance purchase of programmes – voucher for cast list
Programmes for all performances at the Vienna State Opera except premières can be purchased in advance from the information booth at the ticket office (Operngasse 2, 1010 Vienna) and from the Vienna State Opera information office (Hanuschgasse 3, 1010 Vienna). A voucher for the cast list for the performance is issued with each programme and can be redeemed before the start of the performance.
Buffet reservations
Guests can reserve a table on the ground floor or in the Marble Hall and order their snacks and drinks in advance for the interval during opera and ballet performances. The public buffets are catered by Gerstner restaurants. Reservations can be made in person before the start of the performance at the desired buffet, once the doors are opened to the public. Hiring the Tea Salon for a performance
Guests with tickets to an opera or ballet performance can hire the Tea Salon one hour before the performance starts, during intervals and after the performance. The Tea Salon is not normally open to the public. For further information, please contact:

Guided tours
The Vienna State Opera offers more than 800 guided tours every year (including July and August) for its Austrian and international guests. These forty-minute tours through the opera house are available in seven different languages. The times are posted on fliers at the guided tour entrance, in pro:log (the magazine of the Vienna State Opera) and on the Web site of the Vienna State Opera:

Special parking rates for opera guests
The Vienna State Opera and the ÖPARK Kärntnerring garage at Mahlerstrase 8, 1010 Vienna, under Ringstrassengalerien are offering special parking rates for guests attending performances at the Vienna State Opera.
You can park for up to eight hours in the Kärntnerring garage and pay a flat rate of just ₠ 6 if you have your ticket validated at one of the machines located in the Vienna State Opera. You can pay conveniently at one of the ticket machines using your ticket validated at the Vienna State Opera. The normal hourly rate will be charged for any time in excess of eight hours. The opera flat rate cannot be paid by credit card. The validation machines can be found at the following cloakrooms: Operngasse, Herbert von Karajan Platz, balcony right and left, and gallery.
